Debate One: McCain- He GOT it!
My wife and I attending the Republican Primay Debate at UNH. What a difference a few months, a terrible defeat and a little reflection make! John McCain is a new man.
Throughout the debate, the Senator seemed reinvigorated. There was a new confidence in the man that seemed authentic, that he "got it", and was once again back on track with the American people. He was fiesty! He went after Romney, who I also like, stating, "No, the surge is succeeding in Iraq, not might be succeeding", or something along those lines.
The most striking point of the night was his explanation and plan for immigration. Simply put, he said he "got it"! That the American people don't trust Congress anymore. That the people were promised a solution 20 years ago and Congress and the government didn't follow through. That this time, border security had to come first, be implemented and the fence built before any other issue could be addressed.And that is exactly what he is proposing to do. First things first.
He was totally different than the man is wrote about earlier in the year. Once again I think he's back in the game and someone you should listen to as a potential choice.
