Well, Clinton is out.

I'm so amazed to live in Exeter. Presidential candidates show up, happily, in intimate settings like the old 1850 Exeter Town Hall. Like this afternoon, with John Edwards. The hall, once filled by townies listening to Abraham Lincoln a century ago - now hosting one presidential candidate after another.

John was introduced by Exeter Democratic party chair, Joe Pace to a packed hall of residents, Phillips Exeter students, seniors, babies, moms, teachers, business owners, doctors, - the community was fully represented.

He was relaxed, in jeans, animated, and engaged the crowd. He covered all the key topics: healthcare, Iraq, Iran, education, income inequality, transparency in government, voting reform, nuclear weapons and the miltary, taxes- you name it.

What most struck me was his challenge to New Hampshire: If NH voters chose- through our vote - not to support candidates that receive lobbyist dollars- we could change the course of US elections forever.  I had never heard about http://www.just6dollars.org/about

I believe him. We could make that difference, no matter what we agree on - or not - about all the other issues. How cool that would be to change the course of cash funding and special interests by saying no - we are on strike.  C'mon, let's do that.
