Oops for Obama

It's noon and I have already met three people who were undeclared voters who chose to vote for McCain so that Ronmey would not win, but wish now they had voted for Obama. They thought, BECAUSE OF THE POLLS that Obama had it locked up over Clinton.

I have also heard Obama supporters say that because Obama was doing so well IN THE POLLS, they used their vote "strategically" elsewhere, namely to vote for McCain because they hate Mitt Romney so much. I would venture to guess that Senator McCain might not want such votes, cast irresponsibly. We in New Hampshire are so fiercely proud and possessive of our "first in the nation" status, and we have a real responsibility here. Our vote is to show the rest of the nation what we've concluded after having the privilege to see all of the candidates up close. I think it's a shame to use our votes, our voices, in this way. We need to take it seriously if we want to be deserving of "first in the naton."
